Tamara Mellon, OBE (née Yeardye; born 7 July 1967) is a British fashion designer, businesswoman, and magazine editor. She is the former chief creative officer and co-founder of Jimmy Choo, a luxury brand of shoes, handbags and accessories. She stepped down from the brand in November 2011 after its acquisition by Labelux. In 2013, Mellon announced the creation of the Tamara Mellon brand, offering a range of shoes, handbags and accessories. The brand launched in November 2013 with a group of retail partners in the US and Europe but filed for bankruptcy in 2015. Mellon resides in New York City and London with her daughter, Araminta "Minty" Mellon.
